Making vinyl is expensive theres no question durlak says. 4 years of struggling with vinyl has left a bad taste in my mouth. So every 4th or 5th record i buy is poorly pressed or cut too hot. In diy punk for example the music i m involved and not only as a listener currently 12 14 euros for a new lp release is the norm.

But my understanding is that overall costs have not increased. I have over 2 000 records and the quality of some of them aren t great sadly some are very hard to come by now so i have to be careful when djing with them but some well there s just something great.
