If done correctly clicked together at 35 degrees and tapped lightly with laminate tapping tool or chunk of waste laminate and mallet and hammer it should stay nice and tight and locked in place.

I laid about 200 sq ft laminate i didn t do too bad of a job but i missed 2 spots away from each other but still pretty center in the room where the boards just won t lock.
