Window Blinds You Can See Out But Not In

In a pinch the slats of regular blinds can be tilted up to allow in some light while preventing those on the outside from seeing indoors.

The convex side faces the window creating less space through which to view. Top down bottom up window treatments can be installed mid window allowing the blind to be lowered down or pulled up. During the daytime you will be able to see out but harder to see in. This is not a situation you want to find yourself in especially if you have nosy neighbors. When the lights are on in your home at night it makes the shades transparent. When properly installed it lasts for several years. With the blinds tilted up passers by can t see in. However at night the effect is reversed.

At night when the light are on in the room it will be easy to see in. Make note for the narrowest width and longest height. When measuring for the inside mount measure in three places for width top middle and bottom. This serves your purpose beautifully but only during the day.
